Port City Laundry, located in Newburyport's Market Basket Plaza, is a full service laundromat featuring Wash/Dry/Fold Service and Pick-up/Delivery for Newburyport and surrounding towns.
We're looking for someone who is:
* Friendly
* Responsible
* Reliable
* Punctual
* Available for afternoon shifts totaling 12 to 15 hours per week
If you take pride in getting things done the right way then please read on.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A "self-starter" attitude. Your ability to work alone and unsupervised is required.
- A valid driver's license and your own transportation
- Your ability to communicate by phone, text and email
- Laundry can be heavy, so you need to be able to lift and manage loads of up to 25-40lbs.
- Your ability to fill-in shifts when needed
YOUR PRIMARY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
* Washing and drying multiple loads simultaneously
* Folding and bagging laundry according to our standards
* Keeping the machines and the facility CLEAN at all times
* Greeting and helping customers in a friendly, professional manner
* Operating a point of sale cash register/computer
